Packing for NYC…

Get Blasted (in color!)

Just finished coloring up this drawing that I did in my sketchbook in August of last year. It took me a little while to get around to it, but given the amount I’ve progressed since creating the line-art; it was worth it.

I drew this character at the tail end of last summer. Things were quite different back then, as lot can change within the course of a few months. I think he was trying to tell me something… Anyways, the weather continues to look pretty decent outside the office window. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a good drawing session in the park. I drew this while sitting at a table outside a coffee shop on North Killingsworth street here in Portland. Now I’m once again living in Southeast Portland. Like I said, a lot has changed over the past several months, but I can say I’ve never been happier with my life. I have a wonderful companion with whom I can draw in the park. Very much looking forward to our brief but wonderful Summer months here in the City of Roses. This guy will do his best to keep the party alive until then.

Epic Fail…

I heart minimal…

It’s a gray Portland Friday. I’ve got this Minimal Mix in my headphones. Time to get some work done before diving headlong into the weekend. Oh yeah, I created this using Photoshop, SketchUp and Illustrator.

Eagle & Wolf pt.2

Another collaboration between Maryanna and I. When we collaborate, we work under the moniker Eagle & Wolf. We’re working on developing a website dedicated to our collaborative work. With this illustration, Maryanna provided the drawing, while I added the color, texture and lighting. Between the two of us there are many modes of working together yet to be explored. Stay tuned for more details.
